Introducing the ML LOVE Project.
For the ML LOVE Project, we asked ten artists to design stickers around the question,
What does LOVE look like to you?
Our goal was to exemplify how love can make a positive impact through design, utilizing the creative minds of our friends in the industry.
“I enjoy watching the expressions of JOY on people’s faces when they experience my LOVE murals. Art needs no explanation.”
“As a Korean American immigrant, the duality of two identities and love for them both is something powerful not competing. We can be more than one thing.”
“I view life as its own art form and I seek inspiration from it daily. The love and energy I get from creating and sharing my work simulates how contagious love actually is. I’m simply lucky to have a vehicle for its expression through my creative eye and talent.”
“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NLT
“The design is a reminder that we should put ourselves in other people’s shoes before we judge or turn away. Love is empathy and I believe that’s the cure.”
“At Studio Number One, we believe in the power of connection. This sticker represents the relationship and love between people and symbolizes coming together regardless of differences in backgrounds, beliefs, gender, or sexuality.”
“This design is an ode to my chosen family, near and far, who bring constant joy. Life is short, so eat the whole pie.”
“Life is incredibly short. If you don’t live it with love you will not have lived.”
“It is the radiating outward not the clutching close that is the sort of love that has the power to do all the good it’s supposed to. It’s taken me my lifetime thus far to see the power dynamic of giving it away — seeing the seeds I’ve sown over many years grow diverse and wild.”
“Love is on the line.”
With the ACLU working to protect civil liberties and the World Central Kitchen supporting global communities in need, our fundraising efforts for collective donations are going to the right place that makes the right difference. To kick off the Love Project, in honor of our 10th Anniversary, Manual Labor will give $5,000 each to the ACLU and the World Central Kitchen.
Yes; a minimum donation of $35 to either ACLU or World Central Kitchen is required to receive sticker sheets.
Given the goal is to raise funds and awareness for ACLU and World Central Kitchen, we’re limiting one sticker pack to each donation.
Make the minimum donation of $35 to either the ACLU or WCK and save proof of donation. Then, give us your address within the Typeform link above and Manual Labor will mail you two sticker sheets.
Where can I read more about donating to the ACLU and World Central Kitchen?
Read more about ACLU donations here and World Central Kitchen donations & FAQs here.
Please allow 4-6 weeks for your delivery. Shipping in the U.S. only at this time. (We're working on expanding!)
Because this is pro bono and for a good cause, we are not allowing sticker returns. We hope you love the stickers as much as we do, but if you don't, we ask that you spread a little love and pass it along to someone who needs it.
Unfortunately we will not be restocking the ML LOVE sticker sheets, as this is a limited run. Reach out to us at love@manual-labor.com if you have any questions.
