ML is all about community, whether in the industries we work in, the people we work with, or our friends and families. The remote era has changed a lot — and one of its unfortunate effects has been making us all feel a bit more lonely and isolated.
The antidote is creating and fostering human connection. With that in mind, we created our new Connect the Dots with ML!
Last time, you got to know our VP of Marketing Services, Kelly Wrather. Now, it’s time to meet our VP of Product, Sameehan Patel!

Several People are Typing by Calvin Kasulke
Ok, I know you hate being on Slack all the time. But imagine if your entire existence was uploaded to your Slack workspace, and you could only communicate that experience through Slack. This book is that wild concept. It’s formatted to be a long Slack conversation that weaves through different channels—touching on familiar workplace tropes while exploring larger existential questions and being sweetly hilarious all at the same time.
What Are You Watching? 🎥
TV: RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15
For those of you not acquainted with the art of drag, this show is a competitive game show and a cornerstone within the LGBTQ+ community. It’s our Super Bowl! In RuPaul’s quest to find the next drag superstar, contestants face off each week to win over the judges with their looks and performances. It’s so camp and full of love but ultimately speaks to celebrating what makes people special: their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.
Film: The Last Film Show
The Last Film Show is a heartwarming life-affirming story about a young boy in India who wants to make movies in his little village. There’s a line in the movie that I found so powerful. “I want to study light because light becomes stories. And stories become films”. Find the light and go watch the movie. It’s also shortlisted for an Oscar this year!

Giddy Up by Shania Twain
After watching the Shania Twain documentary on Netflix, I’ve become a Shania stan. She’s been through it all, has defined so much of our cultural soundscape, and lives a fabulous life in a little town in Switzerland. Giddy Up is her newest single has the makings of an iconic “Let’s go girls” moment. It’ll definitely add a little pep to your step.
